Our business model is based on traditional translation, where the starring role is played by translators, proofreaders, and language specialists/industry experts.

There are however projects for which clients expect the use of machine translation (MT), or prepare initial translations using said technology themselves. In that case, our role is post-editing, i.e. verification and proofreading of machine translations so final translation quality doesn't depart from that of results obtained using the traditional process.

LocStar possesses the required experience in this field, and upon request, can prepare a machine translation engine based on the client's translation memories and dictionaries, as well as its own, proprietary materials. This allows for the highest output translation quality to be obtained. We also have a team of post-editors who have many years of experience correcting machine translations.
